Ask yourself this question: What would your practice look like if you collected patient balances as soon as you knew exactly what was due?
With the strategies outlined in this week's Tactical Tuesday video, you could do just that. Watch the video to learn more!
STEP ONE: Implement a card on file payment system
If you want to really see what your practice could look like if you collected ALL patient balances as soon as you knew the amount due, you need to start by implementing a card on file payment system. Keeping patient financial information on file allows staff to easily bill patients once the final explanation of benefits (EOB) comes back. No more tracking down patient information, sending statement after statement, and making repeated phone calls to try to recover the amount due.
STEP TWO: Eliminate 3 A/R reports from your practice for good
Once you have a card on file system in place, you can easily eliminate 3 common A/R reports from your practice for good. Seriously, you may never need to run these reports again if you enlist your patients in the COF system!
